Opening an Existing Project

In Section Two, you will open an existing Tutorial Project Each Project you create represents a single Speech Driven Information System. So, if you want to create three separate Information Systems, you will need to create three different Projects. and add to it.

  1. If you are in the program already, go to File > Open.

    OR

    If the program is closed, open it.

  2. The "Open Project" box will pop up.

  1. Click on "(Your Name)'s Tutorial Section One."

  1. Click OK.

    When the Tutorial Project opens, your screen should look like this:

  2. Go to File > Save As and a box like this will come up:


     

  3. Since you are now working on Section Two Tutorial, change the Project Description You can fill out the Description field when recording a Quick Vox or Library Vox. Filling out the Description is optional, but it allows you to keep track of your Voxes more easily. from Section One to Section Two.  This will copy the work that you did in Section One, and create a whole new project with Section Two as the Project Description.
