To access the Properties Properties allow you to control specific details of the program and how it runs. For example, the "Allow Barge-in" property detirmines whether the caller will be allowed to interrupt the system and jump ahead without listening to every single Vox. All the Properties are automatically set to their default value when you create a new Project. You can change the Properties for a specific item from the Properties Table, or you can change Properties for the entire Project from the Project Properties box. for an individual Module :
Click once on the Module icon in the upper left hand corner of the screen.

To change any property in an individual module, simply double click on the property you wish to change.
Type: The type of Module (can't be changed)
Name: The name of the Module
Allow Barge in: Allows the caller to interrupt the system and jump ahead
Enabled: Caller is able to interrupt and jump ahead. (Default)
Disabled: Caller is not able to interrupt. They must listen A Listen tells the program to listen to the caller. It will then try to match what they say to the information you enter in the Grammar. A Listen is a Terminal Action. This means it will be the last Action in an Actions List. to all the Vox files before they can answer. If they answer before all the Voxes have finished playing, their response A Response gives your customers an answer to their question or directs them to another Module that has the information they need. A Response can contain as many Voxes as you would like AND/OR a Goto OR a Transfer OR a Hangup. will be ignored.

Confidence Values can range from 1-999. If the system is very sure that it knows what the caller said, it assigns a high confirmation value, such as 800. If the system is not very sure that it recognizes what the caller said, it assigns a low Confidence Value, such as 200. that is acceptable to the system. If the system assigns a Confidence Value below this value, it will play a Confirmation A Confirmation double checks with a caller to make sure the system understood their response. This way, your callers will not start receiving information about a topic they are not really interested in. Confirmations are always yes or no questions, such as, "Did you say you're interested in locations?" .
Default Value: 500
Remove concepts on Misrecognition Misrecognition occurs when the system misunderstands what the caller says and offers an inappropriate choice. For example, if the caller says "Oregon" and the system thinks they said "Florida.": Whether the system should consider a concept in the list of possible answers after it has played a Confirmation for it to which the caller has answered "No."
Enabled: If the system plays a Confirmation and the caller answers "No" to it, it will not consider this concept on its next attempt to determine what the caller said. (Default)
Disabled: If the system plays a Confirmation and the caller answers "No" to it, it will still consider this concept on its next attempt to determine what the caller said.
Global Concepts Active: Allows the Global Grammars to be activated.
Enabled: Global Grammars will be active. (Default)
Disabled: Global Grammars will not be active.
After audio delay The Audio delay is the number of seconds the system will wait for the caller to respond before it considers the response a No Input. (sec): The number of seconds the system will wait for the caller to respond before it considers the response a No Input .
Default Value: 1 second
Replay initial audio The initial audio is the Vox or Voxes that play before the caller is asked to make a response. These Vox(es) ask the caller a question. after handler A Handler is an Action List that goes into effect when a No Input, No Match, or Error occurs. : Whether the Vox should play again after the system plays a No Input A No Input occurs when the system is expecting a response and the caller doesn't say anything., a No Match A No Match occurs when the caller says something the system doesn't recognize. For example, if the system asks the caller "Do you prefer coffee or tea?" and they reply "Juice," their response would be considered a No Match. , or an Error An Error is anything within the system itself that creates a glitch in the Speech Driven Information System, such as a missing Vox or a Goto that doesn't go anywhere. .
Enabled: Vox will replay after a No Input, No Match, or Error. (Default)
Type: The type of Vox (Quick or Library)
Control: Double click on "RECORD" to record a Quick Vox
Description You can fill out the Description field when recording a Quick Vox or Library Vox. Filling out the Description is optional, but it allows you to keep track of your Voxes more easily.: The description of the Quick Vox.
Transcript You can fill out the Transcript field when recording a Quick Vox or Library Vox. Filling out the Transcript is optional, but it allows you to keep a record of exactly what is said in the Vox. This is very helpful if the Vox needs to be rerecorded later.: The transcript for the Quick Vox.

Custom Action An Action is a specific command that you can add to an Action List. There are five types of Actions: Vox, Listen, Goto, Transfer, and Hangup. Time Out: This is the length of time allowed to a Custom Action to execute.
Custom DLL: This is the dynamic link library containing the Custom Action functions.
DLL Function: The function to run from the Custom DLL.
Module Entry Event: When ON the DLL Function is executed when the module is entered.
Before Confirmation Event: When ON the DLL Function is executed after the caller is done speaking.
After Confirmation Event: When ON the DLL Function is executed after the concept is identified as valid.
Please see the Platform Custom Action Help for more information about how these properties are implemented.

So, if you want to create three separate Information Systems, you will need to create three different Projects. and how they relate. This is where you design and view how a customer’s call will flow through your Speech Driven Information System An Information System is a general term used to describe the product you are designing with this software. This could be any type of system in which you can give information to your callers, such as a Virtual Customer Service Center, a Virtual Technical Support Center, or a Virtual Help Desk. from beginning to end.
