Downloading the Speech Engine

If you are using a Linux system with the tool YUM (available on most RedHat-based distributions), you may use that to download and install the software. See Linux Installation with RPM for more information. If you are using Debian, you may use apt-get to download and install the software; see Debian Installation for instructions.

The LumenVox Speech Engine consists of two pieces: the Speech Engine itself, and the License Server. The Speech Engine and License Server may be installed on different machines, so long as there is network connectivity between the Speech Engine and the License Server.

To download the software:

  1. Login to your account at http://www.lumenvox.com/customers/

  2. Click on Your Software Downloads.

  3. You may then download the appropriate copy of the Speech Engine and the License Server for your operating system.

Once you have downloaded your files, proceed on to Windows Installation, Linux Installation with RPM (for Red Hat-based distributions), Debian Installation, Linux Installation without Packages (for distributions that do not support RPM or Debian packages), or Solaris Installation.
