Once you have installed the Assistant and License Server, you may install the NeoSpeech Text-to-Speech Engine.
NeoSpeech consists of a zip file. Unzip these files into the \Program Files\Lumenvox\Platform\ directory where the Speech Assistant is installed. The Assistant will recognize its presence and use it for TTS processing whether or not a sound card is available on the system.
Note: This installation of NeoSpeech will not be available for use in any other speech processing applications. Its installation is specific to the Speech Assistant.
NeoSpeech is configured via a configuration file called LVMSTTS.ini is created in the Platform directory when the Call Handler is first run. This file contains a section for NeoSpeech with an entry for the voice to be used (VOICE=). The default voice is the female voice, Kate. If you wish to enable the male voice, Paul, change the VOICE= setting from "0" to "1" and restart the Call Handler.
To disable NeoSpeech altogether, change the value for USE_NEOSPEECH= from "TRUE" to "FALSE".
