The Speech Assistant supports the following cards, depending on the sort of telephone lines you are using.
For POTS (plain old telephone service) and analog lines, you'll need some combination of either the D/41JCT-LS which supports 4 phone lines, or the D/120JCT-LS supports 12 phone lines
For robbed-bit T1 digital lines (not ISDN), use the D/240JCT-1T1 with support for one T1 line (24 channels) or the D/480JCT-2T1 which supports two T1 lines (48 channels)
For ISDN lines, use the DMV/V480A-2T1 card with support of two T1 line (46 channels), or DMV/V960A-2T1 with support for two T1 lines (92 channels).
If you are connecting to a digital PBX of the following types:
Avaya 7434 (4-wire) DEFINITY, System 75/85
Avaya 8434 (2-wire) DEFINITY (G3 V4 and higher)
Mitel Superset 420 SX-50 only
Mitel Superset 430 SX-200ML, SX-2000
Nortel Networks M7324 Norstar
Nortel Networks M2616 Meridian 1
Siemens Optiset E Hicom
Siemens ROLMphone 400 (RP 400) CBX 9000 Series
You will also need to use a D/42JCT-U card (support for 4 phone lines with a special digital cable).
The following grid is an overview of which types of Intel Dialogic cards the Speech Assistant supports. Many of these cards require the use of reserved devices for full functionality. We have listed which cards we can use as reserved devices. TeleVantage will ignore any channels marked as reserved devices.

Column Notes:
This device can be reserved for use exclusively by LumenVox's Speech Assistant.
The Speech Assistant can not answer this line unless there is a reserved device available.
The Assistant will not support barge-in unless there is a free reserved device.
Dialogic can support either ISDN or Barge-in on this device, but not both at the same time
Additional Notes:
* DM3 cards require reserved devices to answer a call with the Assistant. If a call is received by the Assistant and there are no reserved devices available then the call will be sent to the error extension.
** D/240JCT-T1 This card can only be set-up to handle ISDN calls, be a reserved barge-in device, or handle robbed bit T1 barge-in capable calls at a time.
Splitting resources of a single T1 span may be possible, but is unsupported. For example using half of the T1 answering calls and the other half as reserved devices.
D/480JCT-T1 cards are ideal for handling a single PRI-ISDN line. The second span can be setup as reserved devices for the Assistant.
