Any specialized prompts or key handling customization of the Speech Assistant call router or related applications can be implemented by reading the Profiles and Voice Prompt Customization sections in this help document. Some users are more comfortable with the TeleVantage Auto Attendant or may need to use its other options. This approach can add a significant time delay (3-4 seconds) before the caller finally hears the first Assistant prompt. If this is the approach required, the setup follows these steps:
Create a new Auto Attendant.
Record a greeting in the "Play this greeting before offering menu choices" section. Such as "Welcome to Acme Corporation".

On the menu choice screen, for the 'nothing' option, set the attendant to transfer to the Call Router or any other option you feel appropriate. You could also check Process all other digits as user extensions, so the caller could type and extension and quickly by-pass the Call Router is desired.
Also, if desired, add a menu option for the pound key (#) and give it the action of User login. Then a caller can access their TeleVantage account in the traditional way using the Touch Tone (DTMF) buttons. This is an important option when conditions such as a noisy environment prevent effective voice recognition.
